What use
are college catalogs to alumnae? They reveal what courses were part of the
curriculum and similar facts, even including a list of degree recipients the
previous year. In a given catalog, if you jump to the Directory Information
at the end of each catalog, you can see what administrative positions were
there and who held them, as well as who was on the faculty at what rank, and
other information of interest. One notable feature is the variation or
rearrangement of administrative organization charts from one catalog to the
next.
The
catalogs listed above (each a pdf file) are archived by
CollegeSource Online,
but they are best accessed for free through a link on the Randolph College
Registrar's webpage. The digital online catalogs are proprietary and cannot
be archived on our site, but you can download them for your individual
personal use. Go to the
Randolph
College site and click on "Academic Catalog" on the right. The current
Randolph College catalog lists the total cost of tuition and fees plus room
and board for the 2008-09 academic year as $34,350.
