R-MWC FINANCIAL INFORMATION
About
990 forms: An IRS 990 form must
be filed by every not-for-profit [501(c)(3)] corporation every year, and
once filed, they become public information, available to anyone for the
asking. They are usually filed in November for the previous fiscal year
(ending June 30, in the case of R-MWC), but an automatic extension until
February can be requested by the institution.
Filing of R-MWC's 2006-07 form was postponed until Feb. 15, 2008, but the
college has now requested an extension from the IRS until May 2008.
Since the same IRS 990 forms are
used by all non-profits, some data requested are not pertinent to colleges
and universities; similarly, some questions that we might want answered are
not asked. Filed 990 forms can be obtained at
GuideStar It, which
offers free access to information on 1.7 million non-profits.
